Meet the team
- Founder/Head Coach
- Level 4 SPC
I am the Founder/Head Coach at SS Tennis Coaching. I feel I can give a lot back to club coaching programs from what I have learnt at the first club I worked at (Marsden Tennis Club) and throughout my coaching career. I have also worked at Bolton Arena IHPC as a hitter/coach as well as coaching at one of the northwest premier racquet clubs – Lancashire Health and Racquets, and Huddersfield Tennis Club. I also work out in Portugal for parts of the year at the Vale Do Lobo club. With working at different clubs, centres and countries, I have experienced how clubs, coaches and players work within the industry.
My aim is to introduce tennis into communities and schools, so all kids get to experience Tennis from ages 3 upwards and pushing for it to be included in curriculum time across the area. The kids who then want to take it further, can then further themselves at an SSTC club outside of school.
With my experience in the game from playing and coaching, I feel I can help upcoming players of all levels and abilities from tots, through to performance players and adults. I also educate upcoming coaches starting out on their coaching journey.
- Mini Tennis & Outreach Coordinator

Hannah has been part of the SSTC programme for 2 years now, coming up through the ranks as a junior player. Hannah is an integral part of the team, earning a lot of respect from kids and parents alike with her fun, outgoing and approachable attitude to teaching Tennis, bringing energy and expertise to the court. Her main focuses are the Mini Tennis side of the program, which consists of forming good relationships with schools, linking back into the clubs.
Hannah plays at Marsden tennis club for the ladies 1st team, competing in the Huddersfield league division 1. Hannah is a level 2 tennis coach working towards her level 3. “I love being part of the expanding SSTC programme. I coach under Sean Stafford’s guidance” I also work in schools throughout Kirklees teaching variety of sport to children of all ages.
